"The AI Maturity Index scores how large public investors build, use and invest in AI: five pillars, 0 to 100, from the public record, with the reason and the source behind every number. The two cohorts rank separately on the same anchors, each weighted for the job it does: sovereign funds lean on research leadership and the investment process.
AIMI is published by SPEC Research, which advises sovereign and pension investors on AI strategy and maturity. That is disclosed on purpose: the index reflects a practitioner’s view, informed by that work. Re-scoring is driven by verifiable evidence, never by a commercial relationship; if an advisory relationship with a fund ever informs its score, we say so on that fund’s page.
